About Wayne Liebhard
Dr. Wayne Liebhard has been practicing medicine in Minnesota for over 20 years. He is a former president of the University of Minnesota Medical Alumni Society and member of the Minnesota Medical Foundation board, and active volunteer for many educational and non-profit organizations. Minnesota Magazine has named him one of the University of Minnesota’s “Everyday Heroes” for his efforts, and he has been the recipient of the Minnesota Medical Association’s prestigious Community Service Award. His patients have shared his talent in the exam room, on the community theatre stage, and in his musical performances. Students he’s taught have ranged from budding 4H’ers to medical residents. He holds degrees in the natural and social sciences from St John’s University (Mn) and his articles have appeared in numerous publications including Minnesota Physician. He lives with his wife Joy near Prior Lake, Minnesota.
